Nigeria fast rising act Johnson Oluwaseun Gabriel Popularly known by his stage name Smiling Jay hails from Irele town, Irele local government, Ondo state, Nigeria.
Smiling jay is a student of The Federal University of technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo state, Nigeria studying Industrial Design
He started his music career in the year 2010, recorded his first song in the year 2011 which was produced by Radio boss popularly known as Neyo bantin and was titled Sample, he was also featured on the song.
Smiling jay has worked with the world famous music producer “Fliptyce”, the producer of Chop my money by psquare, igbeyawo by oritse femi and lot of songs by May D. Also he has worked with Tee piano mix.
He was born on the 2nd of April.
