Pre-Camp Tips to Note
No doubt about it, the anticipated date is near, 24th Jan. through 19th March. Kindly take note of the following before going to a cafe to register;
1. Don't just start the registration without having full orientation about the State you will spend a whole one year without your relative, do your mathematics/permutation well. The state's selection is informed of the first choice through the fourth choice and you can only choose state at the last stage of the registration.
2. For those that might wish to redeploy, note that you can upload a Standard Medical Report stating your health condition. There is always a column for Health Status (Good/Bad). The report will be review and if granted you will be posted to that state you want close to your clinic.
3. The portal will be open at exactly 12:00 am (midnight) 24th Jan.
4. You can do the first part of the reg with your phone, by creating a profile using your valid email and fill some basic info. This can only be done when your name is already on the senate list on the NYSC database.
5. While selecting the states visited, ensure you select the states you don't want to be posted to, you can select as many as possible, no limit. Note that computer programming does the posting with no human interference unless you want it influenced. This trick might work for you.
For example, sis blessing his vision wish to serve in Lagos State or Delta, she will need to select most of the Northern Zone and East Zone as the State visited.
6. While selecting States, don't avoid States like Borno, Yobe, etc, those States are automatic relocation after the 3 weeks mandatory orientation program.
7. You can apply for relocation/redeployment during camp and after camp, but the easiest/common way in camp is on medical ground and Marital (for married women). Get yourself a perfect convincing medical report from any government Hospital before heading to camp and ensure you keep in touch with the Doctor that issue you the report. Note: officials will verify the report and screen you.
8. If you are a nursing mother, go camping with your baby, especially if you are posted to the Northern side (high preference is given to all nursing mothers). You can exit camp.
9. Married women, get all your documents ready for uploading during registration and go with them to camp. 100% relocation.

Choosing States of choice – NYSC Zoning
