Following the promise made by Mkeyvision to winners of the first season of its talent hunt show, Hit The Note, the winner of the keenly contested show, Weynon Macdavid (WMD) has dropped his first single.
The song titled Aya E Lenu was released on the 30th of August, 2022 on all social media platforms and all streaming platforms. The song, which describes the struggles every man goes through in the bid to actualize their dreams, captured so many hearts and have tonnes of positive reactions and downloads right from the day it was dropped. By the third day, Aya E Lenu has gathered over 5000 streams and the figure keeps rising by the day.
Weynon Macdavid, popularly known as WMD is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and a recording artist. His music is a blend of traditional African elements and pop. He also does rap, R&B, gospel amongst others.
Since winning the Hit The Note Contest, he has finished the production of two of his songs and is currently working on other projects. WMD is absolutely talented and has so much to offer in the music industry.
