In this movie, Omowaye, the only child of his ailing mother, is frustrated and depressed. Having tried his very best to make ends meet and take care of his mother, he gets the shocker of life when his mother, on her dying bed tells him that she has always known that he will never be able to take care of her because he (Omowaye) is a child born into the world of emptiness and vanity. Omowaye, losing all hope, resulted to fate and decided to commit suicide in order to end his miserable life.
